She's coming HOME!

Tomorrow (barring any crazy last minute setbacks) I will have a baby IN MY HOUSE!  And not just any baby.  My sweet little Bridget.

She has to pass the "Car seat Challenge" tonight. (does any one else hear a crazy sports announcer with that?)  I guess they'll put her in her car seat and she just has to sit there and not have any problems while she's in there.  I don't see any problems arising but it's still that little nagging worry in the back of my mind.

Then, she has a hearing screening tomorrow.  And her last dose of antibiotics is at noon tomorrow.  So, all things going as planned, we'll be able to take her out of that stupid hospital and NICU and she'll be home with mommy and daddy in her own house tomorrow at 1:00.  I'm so excited/anxious/overwhelmed.  But in a good way.

And just because I can, more pictures of my baby.  Because everyone loves baby pictures!

She sleeps a lot. And she LOVES to be swaddled.  Don't those little baby hats crack you up?  She looks like she's trying to hide little horns.  And that yellowy jaundice color has gone away. Hooray!

Daddy and Bridget.  Isn't that the sweetest picture?  Although it looks like Mike's shirt is trying to cut off Bridget's IV.

A way over exposed picture of me with the cutest baby ever! And starting tomorrow, I'll be able to hold her whenever I want to for as long as I want to!

I love the pictures. I'm so excited for you that I just can't stop repeating that (as I'm sure you've noticed).

Whenever we swaddled Pic, I always told her we were making her into a little baby burrito. :)

seriously, the cutest thing ever! I've been meaning to call and check on you guys and I was telling Zap last night that you're hoping to break her free from the NICU and take her home. I'm so excited that it looks like that's going to happen. She's absolutely beautiful!!!

I haven't read The Red Tent. I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

I hope you are in the process of getting Bridget home right now. :)
